Elephant has fun playing with old tyre
An elephant playfully rolled an old tyre across the ground at a Thai animal camp.
Footage shows the 42-year-old jumbo named Uthai kicking the car part like a football in Surat Thani, Thailand on August 17.
Uthai made loud trumpet sounds when her foot was caught in the tyre. She knocked it off and dragged it before returning to her shed.
Her caretaker, who had been watching, approached to let the animal rest in the roofed shelter.
Another caretaker said: 'Uthai is the happiest when playing outside.'
Thailand has up to 3,500 elephants in the wild and a similar number in captivity. Many live in sanctuaries, just like the facility that Uthai lives in.
