"There is a permanent willingness to continue the collaboration, as I explained, not only in boxing but also in wrestling. We have had a relatively extensive collaboration, not just what we saw in the past Olympic Games."
Cuba, with a population of fewer than 11 million, has won at least one gold medal in every Olympic event since 1972. Richards considered it "a profound success to have been in the Olympic medal table for so many years."
