Workers scaled one of the world's tallest aviation radio towers to change light bulbs.

The maintenance crew climbed the 433-foot (132-meter) high structure on a pulley system at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand.

Footage shows the workers preparing their safety gear, which they took up the giant tower on August 10.

They sat on platforms attached to ropes and pulled themselves upwards until they reached the lamps that needed replacing.

Height Safety Specialist Channarong Kasamrong said: 'It seems to be a simple task to replace light bulbs, but it requires a lot of skills and patience.'

Suvarnabhumi International Airport has the third tallest air traffic control tower in the world, and Saudi Arabia's King Abdulaziz International Airport currently holds the top spot, with a height of 446 feet (136 meters).
