Massive boulders topple down mountain heading towards packed touristtrail
This is the moment people flee in panic as huge boulders run down the side of a mountain just above a popular tourist trail.
These three videos of the incident were taken on the northern slope of Changbai Mountain, in Antu County, China, on August 21.
The first video shows people at a tourist centre suddenly gasping in shock as massive boulders fall from a cliff and start to crash down the mountainside.
As more rocks fall, people start to flee and a cloud of dust is left hanging in the air as the last of the huge boulders comes to rest.
A second video captures the falling boulders from a different angle, showing a river at the bottom of the mountain that was not seen previously, and the third and final video from even further away reveals what appears to be a stone barrier located at the bottom to stop the boulders if they reached that far.
Officials confirmed the rockfall had just happened but said there had been no damage to property and no one had been injured.
The mountain trails are meanwhile closed for the moment while experts assess the risk of further rockfalls.
