8月27日，山东东营上演了一幕罕见的自然现象，暴雨后，下水道井盖被冲开，地下水像喷泉一样不是从井口喷涌而出，水花四溅的同时，还有鱼儿纷纷从中跃出。目击者表示，当时很吃惊，一会儿就看到十几条鱼儿接连跳出。
对此，有气象专家表示，大量雨水在短时间内涌入下水道系统，使得下水道内的水压急剧升高。当水压超过井盖的承重能力时，井盖便会被冲开，形成“喷泉”效应。东营的下水道系统很可能与附近的河流、湖泊或其他水体相连通。当井盖被冲开后，下水道内的水流带着强大的冲击力涌出，同时也可能将鱼类一并带出。
