A tour guide demonstrated how Filipinos pressed clothes during the Spanish era.

The woman showed how to iron fabrics using a Prinsa de Paa or clothes mangle at Las Casas Acuzar in Bataan, Philippines, on August 15.

Footage captured by holidaymaker Fernando Aboga Jr. shows the cultural host stepping on the wooden rolling pin placed on top of a cross board. She then moved the pin by applying her weight to the equipment.

According to the guide, Filipinos used to roll clothes on a cylindrical block and place it on the board. They would then apply sheer force to roll the linen, pressing the clothes and removing creases.
