Surgeon's remove keys, nail cutters and knives from boy's STOMACH
This is the shocking moment surgeons removed keys, nail cutters, and a knife from a boy's stomach in India.
Footage shows the operation in which the medical team extracts the foreign objects from the patient in Motihari, Bihar.
The boy reportedly swallowed the items while watching social media videos on his device.
The issue came to light when his mother noticed her missing Godrej cupboard keys. When she asked her son, he revealed that he had swallowed them.
Initially assumed to be a joke, the situation became serious when the family took him to the hospital. An ultrasound revealed not only the keys but also additional items in his stomach.
During surgery, doctors removed a bunch of keys, two nail cutters, and a knife.
Dr Amit Kumar, who performed the operation, stated that the boy was about 20 years old. He noted that while the procedure was quite critical, the child was now out of danger.
The boy's mum admitted that her son was addicted to social media, internet surfing, and online gaming. She said he spent most of his time watching films and reels, which reportedly affected his mental health.
Dr Kumar emphasised the need for caution, as the boy's actions were influenced by his excessive smartphone use and online activity.
