A rescue team was called after an 11-foot-long crocodile was spotted lurking on a university campus in Vadodara, Gujarat.

Footage from August 29 shows the team working together at Maharaja Sayajirao University to safely secure the reptile with ropes.

The beast was eventually transported out of the area to a veterinarian before being released back into the wild.

In a startling incident in western India’s Gujarat, a huge 11-foot-long crocodile was spotted on the campus.

The incident took place on the campus of Maharaja Sayajirao University in Vadodara district on August 29.

Visuals showed Forest Department personnel retrieving the crocodile from the university grounds and guiding it safely away from the campus. The enormous reptile was secured with ropes and carefully handled by the rescue team before being transported out of the area.

According to reports, the students of Maharaja Sayajirao University were shocked to see the enormous crocodile and immediately informed the Forest Department. The department's swift response led to the successful rescue of the reptile, preventing any potential danger.
