08/29/2024 12:24 am (GMT-0700) | LANCASTER, Calif. – Los Angeles County firefighters contained a blaze that erupted at a junkyard in Lancaster early Thursday morning.

The fire was reported at approximately 12:24 a.m. in the junkyard at 421 West Ave I. Firefighters arrived promptly and declared a "knockdown" in just 11 minutes, bringing the fire under control.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities have not yet disclosed how many vehicles were damaged or destroyed in the incident.
