As the new school term begins in Ziyang, Sichuan, an unexpected group of 'visitors' arrived before the students did: a swarm of wasps. These uninvited guests decided to make their homes within the school premises, creating nests and buzzing around freely, which posed a significant safety risk to both students and staff.

The presence of the wasps not only disrupted the learning environment but also raised concerns over potential stings, which could lead to severe allergic reactions in some individuals. The situation escalated to a point where the local fire department had to be called into action.

Ziyang Fire Department reported that upon receiving the distress call, firefighters dressed in protective gear arrived at the scene. Under the scorching sun, they engaged in an operation that lasted for about an hour. Their mission was to carefully remove and dispose of the wasp nests, ensuring no larvae or wasps were left behind that could rebuild or retaliate.
