"As a member state of the IAEA, China continues to be a beneficiary of agency assistance. And through its extraordinary economic growth and advance, in knowledge, technology, and expertise, it also becomes a key supporter of the agency financially, politically, and through our collaborations.
So a great strength of nuclear sector is that it collaborates. China's decades of experience in innovative collaboration, (is) our solid foundation to build on for the agency and for our member states.
So this is an area where the IAEA and China have worked together, integrating good practices, international standards, peer reviews and listeners, especially for safety and security in the nuclear sector.
And abroad, China is helping other countries achieve their own energy goals by building quickly and safely their own industry on nuclear power. So this is showing the world that it is possible to build nuclear power plants quickly and with integrated cost."
