Engineers were seen carefully craning in a new road bridge at a key interchange on the A249 in Kent, UK this afternoon (August 31).

Kent County Council was awarded £38 million by the Housing and Infrastructure Fund to improve the A249 Grovehurst (and Key Street) interchanges.

Workers and heavy lift cranes were seen undertaking the improvements near Sittingbourne, which required both carriageways of the A249 surrounding the interchange to be closed this weekend and diversions put in place.
