USA: Slain LASD Deputy Hagop Jake Kuredjian Remembered With Speakers On Camera

08/31/2024 09:30 am (GMT-0700) | Stevenson Ranch – Friends, family and colleagues remembered slain Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Hagop "Jake" Kuredjian 23 years after he was killed in a shootout in Stevenson Ranch.
Kuredjian was responding to a backup request at a home on Brooks Circle for Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents attempting to serve a search warrant. The homeowner, suspected of impersonating a police officer and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, opened fire with an automatic rifle striking Kuredjian in the head.
The home burned to the ground with the shooter inside.
