Tropical Storm Yagi sparked flash floods as it battered the Philippines this morning.

Footage shows the fast-flowing deluge roaring past houses that were built near the banks of a stream in Rizal province on September 2.

Yagi, locally named Enteng, is the fifth cyclone that entered the archipelago this year, enhancing the southwest monsoon and causing widespread flooding in north central region.

The country's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said two people were killed while ten were injured due to the effects of the storm.

Tropical Storm Yagi is expected to reach a peak category of typhoon later this week before moving towards southern China.
