United States: Sun Valley Pedestrian Fatally Struck On 5 Freeway

09/01/2024 10:59 pm (GMT-0700) | SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES – CHP Altadena Area officers responded to a call of a person who was struck on the 5 Freeway near the Sunland Boulevard off-ramp.
Per CHP, a Sig Alert was issued for an unknown time. Number two, three, and four lanes were closed during the incident. The HOV and number one lane were open for vehicles to merge and pass through.
The cause of this fatal incident is currently unknown.
