Bystanders narrowly escaped being hit by power pole
On September 3, an electric pole suddenly fell in southwestern China’s Guizhou province, and the female passersby escaped in panic thanks to the cushioning of vehicles by the roadside.
Surveillance footage showed that a roadside pole suddenly fell in flames, the sudden situation let nearby pedestrians and vehicles are in a panic. It happened that two women were passing by, and they witnessed the shocking moment when the pole fell, and immediately reacted, fleeing the scene in panic. Fortunately, at the critical moment when the pole fell on them, a white car parked beside them provided them with a certain buffer, helping them narrowly avoid the disaster.
According to witnesses, the two girls left the scene on their own because they were not in any serious condition. Afterwards, police rushed to the scene to deal with the situation and divert traffic. The fall of the pole also led to the power outage of businesses along the street, and the power supply department is actively investigating the cause of the fall of the pole and taking measures to repair.
