This is the moment a mother topples over a low stool in a clothes store while holding her infant son.

CCTV footage shows the woman was trying to amuse the child and walking slowly down the rows of clothing when the accident happened at the store in Henan, China, on August 28.

The video shows the woman focused on the child, raising it in the air and hopping up and down as part of the fun.

But then she suddenly takes two or three steps forward and stumbles over the low-lying stool, where she falls flat on her face together with the infant, who instantly starts crying.

Three people sitting on a sofa on the other side of the room rushed over and helped, picking up the child and pulling the mother from the ground.

It was reported that neither the mother nor the child was hurt.
