Comical moment unfolds as toddler's friendship offer is rejected by peckish pelican
It's a shame that pelicans don't find human babies adorable, but at least that leads to comical situations like the one in this video.
Shared by Vinnie, the clip shows an innocent toddler trying to befriend a snobbish pelican, only for the bird to 'clap' the kid's head with its beak!
At that point, the child starts sobbing and is quickly taken away from the angry bird.
"The pelican really bit him!" the filmer told WooGlobe.
It seems the little one will be extra cautious around animals moving forward.
