A Twitch streamer happened to capture the moment a woman had her phone snatched by a masked criminal riding an E-bike outside Oxford Circus station, London.

The filmer, who was lives treaming on Twitch under the name @Poultry_Motion, told Newsflare: "I had been walking around the Soho/Oxford Street area and was focusing on photographing cars, buses and cyclists during the morning.

"As I was standing on the middle of the crossing waiting for traffic to pass so I could take photos I saw the bike cross over the intersection and was following it to grab a photo. At that moment they mounted the pavement and snatched the phone out of the persons hand.

"After this happened I then headed down Regents Street and the same person on the bike was riding it along the pavement and ended up snatching another persons phone on Regent Street but it was too far from the camera to be seen.

"Shortly after the second on I found a police officer and told him and they seemed to already be out there trying to catch the person on the bike."

Around 8am on Wednesday morning (4th September 2024) a person who had fully covered their appearance rode their E-bike onto the pathway outside Oxford Circus station, snatched a phone out of a person's hand, and then rode off.
