Argentina: Man missing after avalanche found alive on Cerro Lopez
San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina - September 04, 2024
The director of Citizen Protection of Bariloche informed the local media that around 7 in the morning this Thursday they found the man from Cordoba, between 30 and 35 years old, who was being searched for on Cerro Lopez after the avalanche that took place this Wednesday. As a result of the incident, one person died and another was rescued alive, with minor injuries and hypothermia, a short time later. Civil Defense confirmed that this new survivor is a person who managed to communicate by phone from the mountain after midnight, which helped to find his whereabouts.
