Egypt's agricultural exports have reached 3.6 billion U.S. dollars so far this year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation said in a statement on Thursday.
"Total agricultural exports have exceeded 6.1 million tonnes since the beginning of this year, with 3.6 billion U.S. dollars, up by 800 million U.S. dollars for the same period last year," the statement said.
The statement added that citrus topped the exports with more than two million tonnes, followed by potato and onion exports with 962,618 tonnes and 251,338 tonnes respectively.
