Motorbike catches fire while filling at petrol station
This is the shocking moment a motorbike caught fire while fueling up at a petrol station in India.
CCTV footage shows a driver pulling his vehicle forward to fill up when suddenly flames burst from the bike in Jalore, Rajasthan, on August 30.
Onlookers scattered in panic but a worker quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher to control the blaze. Other staff members also assisted him later on. They had it under control within 20 seconds of the fire igniting.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation, but authorities advise that the engine should be turned off when refueling with gasoline. Operating the engine can prolong combustion in the components, providing a continuous spark that can fuel the fire.
