Billboard ripped off building by typhoon winds strikes passing motorcyclist in southern China
As Typhoon Jongdari approaches, Haikou faced strong wind conditions on September 6, and a man riding a bike was unfortunately struck by a falling wooden billboard, resulting in a comminuted fracture.
Surveillance footage shows that at the time of the incident, strong winds caused a wooden billboard on a building to be blown off, just as a man on a bicycle was passing by. He was hit and fell to the ground. Fortunately, some kind-hearted passersby rushed to help him.
According to witnesses, the man who was struck only sustained minor injuries, with his head scraped and already receiving timely medical treatment. He is not in serious condition.
