Over the past 21 years, he has worked on experimental fields and laboratories in 13 African countries.

SOUNDBITE 1 (Chinese): HAI JIANGBO, Director of the African Research Center of NWAFU
"In fact, Africa possesses abundant solar, thermal, soil, and water resources. However, due to the current limitations in its scientific and technological capabilities, as well as its production capacity, we need to leverage our advantages, such as in technology and talent, to help improve local agricultural production conditions. This way, we can ensure a stable supply of food and nutrition, allowing the local people to live happy lives.
At NWAFU, we have a rich pool of scientific talent, as well as achievements in dryland agriculture. By combining this expertise with the local resources, we can widely promote technologies regarding crop varieties, fertilizers, and machinery to African countries, thereby helping to boost their agricultural production levels."

SOUNDBITE 2 (English): NGNADONG WANSIM ABOUBAKAR, PhD student at NWAFU
"I came from Africa, from Cameroon. I'm a PhD student, since last year. My major is agronomy. And I'm in core cultivation and farming system. He treats me very kindly since I was a master's student. And he encouraged me also to come back for PhD. If I have achieved what I have achieved now, it was under his supervision and his great support."
