Fire ravages Times Tower high rise block in Mumbai, India
A fire broke out at a skyscraper in Mumbai, India, on Friday morning.
Footage shows the blaze tearing through Times Tower, a 15-storey commercial building in the sprawling city in the sub-continent.
Officials at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said the inferno began in the Kamala Mill compound of Lower Parel around 6.30 am. They believe it started in the electrical duct and was confined between the seventh and third floor.
The fire brigade has classified it as a level two fire and sent nine fire engines and other firefighting vehicles to the scene. There have been no reports of casualties so far, the official added.
