United States: Simi Valley Suspected DUI Crash Knocks Out Power
Los Angeles, United States - September 08, 2024
09/08/2024 04:00 am (GMT-0700) | SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – Simi Valley Police and Ventura County Fire Departments responded to reports of a traffic collision near the intersection of Sycamore Drive and Heywood Street.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they located a sedan that had collided with a power pole, knocking it down.
The female driver of the sedan was evaluated at the scene by medical personnel and was not injured.
She was later arrested on suspicion of DUI after being subjected to field sobriety tests.
The crash caused a large power outage to an unknown number of SoCal Edison customers in the area.
