Germany: IFA Berlin 2024 focuses on sustainability, AI empowerment

Storyline:
The IFA Berlin 2024, the world's leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, kicked off on Friday in the German capital, featuring energy conservation and artificial intelligence (AI) empowerment.

The five-day trade show has brought together over 1,800 global exhibitors, 125 keynote speakers and more than 182,000 visitors from 139 countries, according to the organizer.

This year's event marks the 100th anniversary of the IFA, with global tech giants showcasing their cutting-edge innovations such as AI, robotics, and even a flying car.

Chinese tech giants will continue to bring their latest technologies and products to this year's trade show.

Over 400 Chinese exhibitors are attending the event, and the exhibitors such as Haier, Hisense and TCL have secured some of the largest exhibit spaces, offering a wide array of innovative products, according to the official IFA website.

According to the organizer, AI and sustainability are the major themes of IFA 2024. During the event, exhibitors from the home appliance industry are displaying their latest energy-saving devices, including energy-saving refrigerators, low-energy washing machines and smart energy storage equipment.
