A coal truck was flipped over as a landslide swept across a road in Ying County, Shanxi Province, on September 8.

Footage shows the truck overturned blocking traffic as coal scattered across the road.

Fortunately, a white sedan managed to drive past the area just seconds before the landslide occurred.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck driver managed to climb out of the vehicle with the help of bystanders and appeared to be unharmed.

The road has since been cleared but remains closed due to a risk of further landslides.

At 5 p.m. on September 8, a landslide occurred on a provincial road in Ying County, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province.

Surveillance footage shows a large amount of sand and rocks tumbling down the slope and piling up on the road, causing a coal truck to overturn, blocking traffic. Fortunately, a white sedan had just passed through the area moments earlier, narrowly avoiding the landslide.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck driver managed to climb out of the vehicle with the help of bystanders and appeared to be unharmed.

On the morning of September 9, staff from the Ying County People's Government Office stated that the accident only impacted one truck and did not cause any casualties. The road has been cleared. However, authorities have identified a risk of further landslides in the area above the accident site, so the road remains closed.
