A giant panda stopped traffic as it casually strolled across a mountain pass in Ya'an, Sichuan Province.

A group of tourist took out their phones to capture the wild animal that is listed as "vulnerable" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

Due to its large body, the panda appeared to struggle through the railing at the side of the road.

The Jiajin Mountain area in Ya'an, Sichuan, has long been one of the habitats for wild giant pandas.

As a first-class protected species in China, the living environment of wild giant pandas requires strict protection. Tourists encountering wild giant pandas should maintain a safe distance to avoid causing them any disturbance or harm.
