This is the terrifying moment a family of bears walked into a restaurant in China.

The three Tibetan white bears barged into the establishment, scaring a staff member who was cleaning the dining area in Nagqu, Tibet, on September 2.

CCTV footage shows the woman mopping the floor when she saw the animals entering through the door. She immediately ran to her employer to report what she had seen.

No one was harmed by the encounter and the owner, Mr Dou, told local media that the animals returned the following night. However, wildlife officials reportedly increased patrols and warned residents not to get to close to wild animals that emerge from woodland.

The Tibetan white bears are generally solitary and shy, and aggressive encounters are rare.
