This is the dramatic moment a mother and her two daughters battled through typhoon winds in China.

The woman struggled to manoeuvre an electric scooter they were riding on a busy road due to the strong gusts in Zhongshan, Guangdong, on September 5.

She lost control of the two-wheeled vehicle as a sunshade attached to it was blown by the wind.

Footage shows two kind bystanders helping the mum push the scooter to the roadside. One even carried one of the toddlers.

The filmer said: 'The scooter's sunshade is great in sunny weather, but a nightmare during a typhoon. Everyone should stay safe in this kind of weather.'

Some parts of the country have been experiencing severe rainstorms and heavy winds, causing flash floods and landslides.
