Lakhs of devotees attended to birth darshan of Radha Rani in Barsane, Mathura Northern India
On 11 September Wednesday Lakhs of devotees from all over the country reached Barsana Dham at 4 am in the morning of Radha Ashtami Tithi in Mathura ( Uttarpradesh) Barsana to have the birth darshan of Radha Rani in Mool Nakshatra.
On Wednesday morning, during the birth abhishek darshan of Radha Rani temple, the Sevayats took the idol of Radha Rani out of the sanctum sanctorum and offered water from 27 wells, leaves of 27 types of trees, one quintal of curd, two quintals of cow's milk amidst the chanting of Vedas. Abhishekam was done with one maund of sugar, 1 kg perfume, 1.25 maund of cow's ghee, Raj, seven grains, fruits and dry fruits while reciting the Beda Mantra.
The birth darshan was conducted for about an hour. After this, at nine in the morning, congratulations for the birth of Radha again came from Nandgaon. The community sang 'Badhaai' for three hours in the temple square.
Lakhs of devotees were moving towards the temple in a crowd in order to have darshan of Radha Rani. During this time, a lot of sports toys were looted in Vrishabhanotsav.
