In a dramatic incident in southern India's Kerala, a man was rescued from a well by a dedicated fire department team.

The incident took place in Kozhikode district on September 9.

Visuals showed the intense rescue operation, showcasing rescue officials using a thick rope tied to a basket to lift the stranded individual out of the well. The team, visible in action, worked with precision and coordination to ensure the man's safety. The individual was seen being carefully assisted out of the basket once he was pulled to safety.

Speaking to Newslions, Senior Fire Officer Mr Manoj from Mukkam Fire Station, Kozhikode, stated that a team of ten fire department personnel, led by Station Officer Abdul Gaffur, successfully executed the rescue. He also confirmed that the victim sustained only minor injuries during the ordeal.
