A paraglider hooked a tiny shed onto his gear and floated across a valley during an extreme sports competition in the Philippines.

The contestant designed a tiny house using light materials which he secured onto his equipment and flown over hills during the event in Bukidnon province, the Philippines on September 8.

Footage shows the unique paraglider flying over mountains and forests while spectators cheered for him.

One of the event-goers, Jimmy Avancena, said: ‘The tiny house won the competition. It was the most unique we have seen.'

Paragliding involves a flexible, parachute-like canopy that is inflated by air. The pilot sits in a harness suspended below the wing and controls the glider using brake lines.
