A homeowner's security camera captured a bungling thief attempting to use a bedsheet as an invisibility cloak whilst stealing valuables from a home in Deyang, Sichuan Province.

When the homeowner checked their belongings, they discovered that 5,000 yuan in cash and valuable gold and silver jewellery was missing.

After investigating the scene, the police analysed the thief's movements and identified their information through a series of inquiries and visits. They quickly identified the suspect and arrested him in a teahouse in Mianyang.

Recently, a surveillance camera in a resident's home in Xinsheng Town, Luojiang District, Deyang City, Sichuan, captured a bizarre scene: a bedsheet, seemingly covering a living person, was slowly moving through the house. Later, when the homeowner checked their belongings, they discovered that 5,000 yuan in cash and valuable gold and silver jewelry were missing. It turned out that the bedsheet had been used by a thief as a "cloak of invisibility."
