Buenos Aires, Argentina - September 09, 2024

The economic crisis in Argentina is deeply affecting consumer habits, with a surprising 80% of Argentines cutting back or eliminating traditional barbecues, according to a recent study by Moiguer Consultora. This change reveals the profound impact of inflation and the fall in purchasing power on the country's culinary customs.
The Mood Social report, carried out between July and August 2024, highlights that the economic situation is causing a series of adjustments in the expenses of Argentine families. According to the survey, 52% of those surveyed consider that their consumption capacity has worsened compared to the previous year. In addition, 69% say that their income does not keep pace with inflation, and 52% are in debt, a figure that has increased compared to last year.
