Berlin, Germany - September 07, 2024

Innovations from Chinese brands have shined at the IFA Berlin 2024, Europe's largest consumer electronics expo, attracting local retailers to introduce the cutting-edge intelligent products into the European market.

As a barometer of technological innovation in the consumer electronics industry, this year's IFA, which ran from Sept 6 to 10, attracted more than 1,800 companies from around the world.

Gerard Louis, a German exhibitor, brought a new model of robot vacuum to the expo. Developed and manufactured by a Chinese company, the product has been very popular among young German consumers, Louis told China Central Television (CCTV).

Chinese innovations boasted a strong presence at the event, with a wide range of products in the fields of smart home, home appliances, communications and connectivity, computing and gaming, health and digital wellbeing, and robotics and mobility on display.

In light of the premium quality of the Chinese exhibits, many German electronics retailers said they saw huge potential in the products and were planning to introduce them into the German and European market in the near future.

"We present here the J15 Pro new model with the best power performance in suction power. Actually we've already started sales, quite successfully. Of course, in terms of vacuum cleaners, there is quite high competition already, but in Germany, you have a situation that end users are very keen looking on price-performance, which means you need to be a very good quality product but affordable price. So we still see a good chance, especially for the novelties I mentioned.";
