Street sweeper hit by car and pushed over divider
A street sweeper was struck by a car and pinned against a divider while on duty in India.
CCTV footage shows the hit-and-run incident involving a public health employee named Ramanchi Sammakka in Hanamkonda, Telangana, on September 7.
She was sweeping the area in front of the centre divider when a maroon vehicle crashed into her. The driver did not stop to assist the injured sweeper and callously drove away from the scene.
A motorbike rider came to her aid and helped her to stand. The worker reportedly suffered severe injuries following the incident.
