Gaza Strip: Palestinian death toll in Gaza rises to 41,084, says health authorities

The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 41,084, Gaza-based health authorities said in a statement released on Wednesday.
During the past 24 hours, the Israeli military killed 64 people, bringing the total death toll to 41,084 and injuries to more than 95,000 since the latest round of Palestinian-Israeli conflict broke out last October, it added.
On Wednesday, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) reported that six U.N. staff members were killed in an Israeli air-strike on a school in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
This is the highest number of U.N. staff deaths in a single attack since the current conflict began.
According to Al Jazeera's report on Wednesday, at least six schools sheltering displaced people in Gaza have been attacked by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) since August, resulting in more than 170 deaths.
On the same day, the IDF continued their attacks on various areas in Gaza and the West Bank, releasing a video of military operations in the West Bank targeting a school housing displaced people.
Hamas' media office claimed that at least 18 people were killed and many others were injured in the attack.
The IDF stated their target was a Hamas command center inside the school.
The IDF also released videos of their operations in the West Bank areas of Tubas and Tulkarm.
Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported that the IDF attacked Tubas on Wednesday, with its planes flying intensively over the area. The IDF also surrounded a local hospital and blocked the roads leading to it.
It cited the Palestine Red Crescent Society as saying that the air-strikes on Tubas killed five people.
