USA: Pico Union Caltrans GTA Suspect Detained

09/11/2024 03:10 am (GMT-0700) | PICO-UNION, LOS ANGELES – California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) workers chased a man who stole one of their vehicles Wednesday morning from a construction zone on the 10 Freeway.
A male suspect stole a Caltrans pick-up truck at the 10 Freeway and Vermont and fled the location. Caltrans crews chased the suspect in their vehicle to the intersection of West Pico Boulevard and Menlo Avenue where they blocked him in with their vehicles.
Los Angeles police officers responded to the location and the suspect was immediately detained. No one was injured during the short Caltrans pursuit, and their vehicle was recovered.
