Guests from various countries attended through both online and offline channels.

"Globally, countries are increasing their share in renewable energy. And China's significant contribution to global renewable energy expansion, both in terms of domestic capacity and investment, are underlying the potential for rapid growth in this sector."

SOUNDBITE 2 (English): STEPHAN GRABHERR, Charge d'affaires of German Embassy in China
"I think Germany and China, together with other countries, we can take also the lead as far as green transformation is concerned because green transformation for industrialized countries is quite a challenge. "

SOUNDBITE 3 (English): JOHN BUSUTTIL, Malta's Ambassador to China
"I mean, China is the second-largest economy (in the world). Europe is a very big economy. And, of course, there's a lot of cooperation going on. There are a number of high-level dialogues where they exchange views on the different international issues. If China and Europe work together very often, there is agreement."
