SOUNDBITE 1 (Chinese): MA JIA, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar
"Next year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Myanmar. China is willing to work with Myanmar to preserve and carry forward the 'Paukphaw' (fraternal) friendship, deepen cooperation in jointly implementing the Belt and Road Initiative, and jointly advance the building of a China-Myanmar community with a shared future."

SOUNDBITE 2 (Myanmar): U KO KO HLAING, Union minister of ministry 2 at office of chairman of state administration council
"Both CITIC Myanmar and China Foundation for Rural Development are working effectively in their respective fields for poverty alleviation and development in Myanmar. Thanks to the kind assistance of Chinese friends, Myanmar's new generation of young people will be able to acquire knowledge and learn about technology effectively and peacefully, which will benefit the country. On behalf of the Myanmar government, people, and students, I would like to thank my friends as the scholarships will help produce human resources for the development of the country."

In the next two years, CITIC Myanmar also plans to conduct knowledge lectures, university student innovation projects, field research, and other empowerment activities to help Myanmar students improve their capabilities.
