The Head Constable of the Railway Protection Force rescued a husband and wife who slipped while trying to board a moving train in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place at Prayagraj Junction in Prayagraj district on September 12.

Visuals showed the couple running to catch the coach when they lost their balance and slipped dangerously near the train. They were just moments away from falling under the train when the RPF Head Constable swiftly stepped in and pulled them to safety.

Speaking to the Newslions RPF officer Shiv Kumar Singh stated Head Constable Dhirendra Pratap Yadav posted at Prayagraj junction saw a woman and a male passenger slipping while running behind train number 14117 Kalindi Express which was leaving from platform number six while trying to board the moving train. They were about to fall into the gap between the platform and the train but were saved by the head constable posted there.

Upon interrogation, it was found that the train manager stopped the train and made the male and female passengers sit on the train. Both the passengers were in a state of shock due to the incident and were in no condition to tell their names, address, or mobile number. Then the train started. Due to this, the name and address of the male and female passengers could not be taken.
