Snake wranglers catch snake in family's kitchen
This is the terrifying moment snake wranglers captured a snake in a family's kitchen.
Four animal rescuers retrieved the one-metre-long coconut tree snake that was lurking on the countertop in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on September 1.
Footage captured by Prapanpong Maifoei shows the men using long poles to catch the reptile. Moments later, they successfully removed the snake, which coiled around the stick.
One of the men carefully moved it out of the house and placed it in a sack for transport back to the wild, away from residential areas.
Coconut tree snakes are mildly venomous reptiles that feed on lizards, bats, and small rodents.
