United States: Fatal House Fire in Los Angeles With Interview On Camera

09/16/2024 02:28 am (GMT-0700) | GLENDORA, Calif. – The Los Angeles County Fire Department and Glendora PD responded to a structure fire in the 700 block of Danecroft Avenue in Glendora.

Once firefighters and officers arrived, they located a one-story structure with heavy smoke and fire from the rear bedroom. Once firefighters and officers made entry into the house, they located blood inside the residence. Firefighters found one victim in a back bedroom along with two deceased dogs.

Firefighters and paramedics were able to pull the victim out of the house and pronounced the person deceased at the scene. It is unknown at this time how the fire started.

Glendora PD is taking over the scene. LACoFD had an arson team en route to assist in the investigation. The fire was knocked down within 30 to 45 minutes of the call coming out.

California Edison and the Gas Company arrived at the scene but could not access the house because a crime scene had been established by police.
