Doctors remove 16cm long live leech from 10-year-old boy's nose
Video captured the moment of Doctors removing 16cm long live leech from a 10-year-old boy's nose in Nghe An, Vietnam.
According to the doctor, the boy came to the clinic with a sore and bleeding nose.
The doctor used an endoscope and discovered a giant leech sucking blood in the boy's nasal passage.
The doctor quickly used forceps to remove the leech from the boy's nose. The leech had damaged the boy's nasal passage.
The boy said that about a week ago he had bathed in the river. This could be the reason why the leech entered the boy's nose.
The footage was filmed with the patient's permission.
