A huge crocodile emerged from a murky river in Banyuasin Regency, Indonesia, and began walking towards a group of humans.

Eyewitness Mohammad Arsaid said: "We were shocked when on the river bank, a crocodile suddenly rose from the river. We tried to approach it to lure it to move but the crocodile was silent, we were also very scared."

It can be seen in the video that residents tried to approach the large crocodile, to lure it into attacking, but the crocodile remained still and did not move.

"We were shocked when on the river bank, a crocodile suddenly rose from the river. We tried to approach it to lure it to move but the crocodile was silent, we were also very scared," said Mohammad Arsaid, a resident who was also an eye witness.

It is known that this large crocodile is one of the largest types of crocodile in the world which lives in fresh waters such as rivers, lakes, swamps and other wetlands. This animal plays an important role in an aquatic ecosystem, namely as part of the food chain and preventing overpopulation of prey animals.
