As Typhoon Bebinca lashed Shanghai on September 16, one resident decided to make the most of the rainfall by bathing on a flooded rooftop.

Mr. Lin, the man in the the video, explained that he had previously noticed water accumulating on the rooftop outside his window during rainstorms and had thought about taking a bath there.

With the heavy rainfall from the typhoon quickly filling the rooftop, he decided to take the opportunity to try bathing in the midst of the storm.

He didn’t expect to attract much attention in such weather, but to his surprise, someone snapped photos of him. He described the experience as refreshing and unique but urged others to be mindful of safety and hygiene.
