Shocking moment bad driver shunts another vehicle from car park roof
This is the shocking moment a driver confuses the accelerator with the brake, causing another vehicle to plummet off the top of a car park roof and into a water-filled shaft.
The video was captured at a car park in Yantai, Shandong province, China, on September 9.
Footage shows the driver accelerating uncontrollably, colliding with the car in front and forcing it through a barrier into the shaft.
In a further mishap, the car rapidly reverses, smashing into a second vehicle.
The first car, which was unoccupied at the time, was lifted out by a crane, revealing the extent of the damage.
Details about the owner's reaction upon discovering the damage have not been disclosed.
