The event features a supermoon, which appears larger and brighter due to its closer proximity to Earth. The Harvest Moon is traditionally associated with the autumn equinox. During this event, a partial lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth partially blocks the sunlight from reaching the moon, casting a shadow on it. The eclipse in San Antonio lasted for over four hours, from 7:41 p.m. to 11:47 p.m. CT, with the peak at 9:44 p.m. CT, during which only 3-4 percent of the moon was covered by Earth's shadow. This celestial event took place at 1215 Fair Ave, San Antonio, Texas.
